Things You'll Need
- Tear mender fabric glue
- Paper plate
- Puppy treat
Instructions
Shake the glue well and pour some onto the paper plate. Have your chihuahua sit in front of you with his head held straight. If the head is tilted even slightly, the ears may not come out even.
Dip your finger into the glue, and spread it onto the outer edge of the front of your puppy's ear. Start at the tip and continue about 2/3 of the way down toward the base. Repeat with the other ear.
Press both ears together and hold for at least 30 seconds. According to Ayer's Long Coat German Shepherds, the glue should hold for about four weeks, and if your puppy's ears still flop after the glue comes off, wait two or three days and reapply.
Reward your puppy with the treat for being so patient.
