Canine Garden Resort
-
The Canine Garden Resort is situated between the Oregon's coast and the town of Tillamook. Dogs spend most of the day in the main boarding house, with rubber floors and rugs, or the yard, made up of artificial turf and pavement. Sleeping arrangements are up to the owner of the pet; pets may either sleep in large blankets and pillows with the rest of the dogs at the resort or be separated in an overnight pen, with a small bed, food bowl, water dish and a small grass area. Animal waste is picked up several times a day and is composted to feed the flowers that are grown throughout the grounds of the resort.
Ramshorn Kennels
-
Ramshorn Kennels, located in Ramshorn, is situated on 30 acres of meadows and forested areas. Dogs may be kept in the standard kennels, complete with beds and food bowls, or the larger boarding suite, which feature a large bed, chair and television. The kennel also conducts grooming, cleaning and hair-cutting services for dogs and cuts alike. Dogs are exercised multiple times a day on the grounds of the kennel and are supervised each time they leave their kennel.
Bay Breeze Boarding
-
At Bay Breeze Boarding in Warrenton, dogs are kept in either kennels with privacy barriers or in themed "condos" complete with large beds, televisions and speakers playing piped-in music. The same music is also played throughout the grounds of the hotel, where dogs are excersized several times a day. The outdoor area features live plants and running water. Air is constantly circulated and exchanged to maintain a fresh environment for the staying dogs and cats.
Oregon Dog Camping
-
The Oregon Dog Camping, located in Forest Grove, is devoid of kennels; instead, dogs are kept in a large house and yard with the owners of the service. Dogs are walked a minimum of two miles every day, and up to six miles upon request. Dogs are allowed to play, under supervision, in the 40 acres of meadows and forests that border the Tillamook State Forest.
