    Community Pools

    • At the end of each summer, usually right after Labor Day, many community pools have what they call Dog Swims, where your dog is allowed to swim in the local pool on a specific date. They may also hold other dog-related events, like contests, dog shows and police dog demonstrations. Local papers usually list where and when these swims and events take place. Call your city pool to see if they participate in any dog-related activities.
