Instructions
Obtain a picture of your dog or find a similar picture on the Internet. Perform an image search of the same breed of dog to do this. Save it onto your computer for inclusion on the flyer.
Download a free "Lost Dog Flyer" from Microsoft Office templates or printableflyertemplates.net. This gives you the basic wording and layout for the design to save time.
Fill in the details on the form that match the description of your dog, your contact details and upload the image of your dog. If your dog has any defining features or a microchip, add this information. Include all your contact phone numbers and an email address so that you can always be reached.
Grab the attention of passers-by by using large letters in bold capitals and snappy words. You can also include an offer of a reward to provide an incentive for your dog to be returned. Also, write "CALL ASAP" next to your contact details to add a sense of urgency.
Save the flyer and print it. If you already have a printer, use it to complete this step. Alternatively, save the flyer on a USB key, or email it to yourself or a friend. Then, use their printer to make copies of the flyer. Use the back of used paper to print on to avoid having to buy more.
