How Do I Neutralize Skunk Spray?

A pet sprayed by a skunk will stink up your entire life. There are few worse smells in nature than skunk spray. The odor is not just noxious, it's long lasting. Skunks use their spray, which is emitted from a gland under their tails, to ward off potential attacks. The spray won't wash off, so it must be neutralized by another substance. This neutralizer works on animals and objects that have been in the way of the skunk's spray.
