Scottsdale Kennel & Boarding Dogs

Scottsdale Arizona is one of the wealthier communities of the southwest. Many households have purebred dogs whose owners vacation frequently, travel for work, or who just don’t want to leave their pet alone during the day. Boarding facilities for dogs can range from plush to boot camp training. Choosing accommodations for a special pet is of concern to pet owners. Each of the following caters to pets in their own specialized way.
  1. Camp Bow Wow

    • Camp Bow Wow is a franchise business that has over 250 camps in the USA. Dogs play during the day in indoor and outdoor play yards and sleep on cots with blankets in private (or shared) cabins at night. Camper Web Cams allow owners to view their dog’s activities. Owners are asked to bring the dog’s own food. Camp Bow Wow also offers in-home services so that pets can stay in their own homes while their owners are away.

    • For the elite Scottsdale dog, the Applewood Pet Resort caters to every whim. Color television or piped music comforts the guests in their private rooms. Gourmet meals with tasty bedtime snacks are lovingly presented. Dogs and their feline family members are welcome to share rooms or suites at the Applewood Pet Resort. Day care is offered, too. Additional charges are incurred for outdoor play, pool time, cots and other amenities.

    Raintree Pet Resort

    • The Raintree Pet Resort is conveniently located right off the Loop 101 in the Scottsdale Airpark. Daycare is their specialty. Dogs sleep on lambskin mats at the "resort” and are allowed to go outside in covered, misted runs for only 15-20 minutes twice per day. There is a large playroom and a pool that dogs can romp in for an extra charge. Iams food is included in the cost, but administration of medications is extra. One advantage for pet owners is that Raintree Pet Resort provides accommodations for all family pets. (Cats are entertained by a large aquarium!)
