Bichon Frise
-
The Bichon Frise is a small, fluffy dog that many dander allergy sufferers can tolerate. While the dog has a very thick and curly coat, it does not have an undercoat. The Bichon Frise does not shed much hair. The absence of signficant shedding leaves little dander to be found. However, the fur does require more time for grooming and clipping the dog.
Chinese Crested
-
The Chinese Crested is also often known as a hairless breed of dogs. This type of canine has little hair. The fur is located around the face, ears, feet, and tail. The scarcity of hair leaves little room for shedding. The absence of shedding prevents an overload of pet dander, making the breed hypoallergenic.
Schnauzers
-
Schnauzers, both miniature and full size, are known for their skin that sheds a limited amount of fur. While the schnauzer's coat is not bothersome to people who suffer from allergies to dander, it can be a problem for the dog itself. The coat does not protect the animal against cold climate conditions.

Dogs That Don't Produce Dander
Pet dander is a popular term among those who suffer from allergies. Numerous pet lovers struggle each year to control their allergies so they don't have to give up their pets. While no canine is completely dander-free, a few dog breeds naturally produce less shedding and dander than other dog breeds.
