Baking Soda
-
Baking soda can be applied to pet urine stains on concrete, then brushed into the stain. The baking soda will neutralize the odor and may discourage your dog from going in that area again.
White Vinegar
-
Vinegar is a safe, natural product that will remove urine stains and odor from concrete. Apply white vinegar to the area liberally, allow it to sit for a few moments, then brush the concrete vigorously with a grill brush. Retreat the area once or twice more.
Club Soda
-
Club soda is an alternative to white vinegar and should be used in the same way. Reapply the club soda at least two more times for best results.
Animal-Friendly Enzyme Cleaners
-
Enzyme deodorizers work to continuously neutralize dog urine odors. These products are inexpensive, sold in a concentrated formula and are usually safe for use around pets and children.
Warnings
-
Using bleach around pets and children is unsafe, and usually ineffective in pet urine odor removal.

What Is Good for Dog Urine Smells on Concrete?
Dog urine can be difficult to remove from carpet and concrete surfaces. Having pets that are not reliably housebroken, or pets with bladder incontinence, can complicate the matter. Prevention is the best option, but if your dog does have an accident there are gentle homemade and commercial urine deodorizers that can be used to remove the urine smell.
