One of least joyful things about being a dog owner is the dog hair. It goes everywhere, including on floors and even into baseboards. Luckily, several tools can help you clean your baseboards.

If you have an accumulation of dog hair along your baseboards, you can clean the hair up easily with a vacuum cleaner and a pet hair roller. The trick is to do this regularly before the hair can accumulate to the point where it is clogging up your vacuum cleaner.

Instructions

    • 1

Empty the dirt receptacle or install a new vacuum cleaner bag in your vacuum to provide the greatest suction power available.

    • 2

Vacuum the entire room around where the baseboards are. Get rid of the excess hair and dirt so it won't stick to the baseboards.

    • 3

Put an attachment on the vacuum's hose that will allow you to get into tight spaces. Alternatively, you can use a small handheld vacuum.

    • 4

Start at the top of the baseboard and vacuum along the top of the baseboard.

    • 5

Vacuum along the face of the baseboard.

    • 6

Vacuum along the base of the baseboard where the baseboard meets the floor or carpet.

    • 7

Roll the pet hair roller along the baseboard if there is any hair left over after vacuuming.
