How to Get Dog Hair Out of a Blanket

Dogs are often treated as one of the family members, allowed to sit and sleep on the furniture, in bed on their own blanket. Many dogs will leave traces of their hair behind them. Their hair can, and will, stick to everything: clothes, bedding, sheets and blankets. And the fur can prove difficult to remove. Instead of buying special lint rollers and hair sponges, you can easily make your own de-furring device with duct tape.

Instructions

    • 1

Unroll 12 inches worth of duct tape. Hold one end of the duct tape in your fingers, sticky side down.

    • 2

Fold the other end of the tape over and attach it to the other side to make a circle out of the tape (with the sticky side of the tape on the outside of the circle).

    • 3

Fit the circled tape around the palm of your hand.

    • 4

"Roll" the tape down the blanket. Continuing this until the entire blanket is de-furred. You may need to use another strip of tape if it is a large blanket.
