Paper Dog Biscuit Crafts
-
Most dog biscuits are made in the shape of a bone. You can use this shape to create plenty of crafts. Using regular typing paper, construction paper or something a little heavier such as card stock, either draw your own biscuit and cut it out or trace a baked dog biscuit. When you are finished making your dog biscuit, you can decorate it with crayons, stickers, markers or jewels. You can even laminate it if you have a laminator or some contact paper, which will help your dog biscuit craft last much longer.
Baked Dog Biscuit Crafts
-
You can use already-baked dog biscuits to make your dog crafts. One method is to make a dog out of two dog biscuits. Take a small-sized dog biscuit and glue it to the top of a large biscuit. Googly eyes can be glued to the top of the small biscuit. A black pompom can be placed at the bottom of the dog biscuit to represent the dog's nose. Felt ovals can be cut and glued to the sides of the top of the small biscuit for the ears. A second method of using baked dog biscuits in a craft is to use the dog biscuits to make a dog house. You can do this by layering the biscuits like bricks and using frosting as the mortar. You can design your dog house anyway you like---in a square, rectangle or even in a circle like an igloo. You can decorate the outside of the house with various colored frostings.
Dog Biscuit Craft Uses
-
Dog biscuit crafts have many uses. You can place a magnet strip on the back of them so that they stick to your refrigerator. You can also punch a hole in the top of them and use them as a necklace. At Christmastime you can add a ribbon to the biscuit you made and hang it from the tree. Better yet, you can attach several craft biscuits together to form some garland. If you are having a dog-themed birthday party, you can write the names of your guests on the biscuits you made and use them as place holders.
