How to Make Dog Clothes From Things Around the House
Tie a patterned or colored bandanna around your dog's neck along with its collar. This is a simple way to dress up your dog on a daily basis.
Find old t-shirts that you can adjust to fit your dog by tying a knot in the shirt underneath your dog's belly. If you have a toy dog, you might be able to dress him in old baby doll clothes.
Use ribbon from your holiday wrapping supply to tie bows for your dog's hair. By using small rubber bands for human hair, you can tie the bow around one, which will make it easier to attach it to your dog's hair. A small bow on each ear looks adorable.
Transform an old pair of jeans into jean shorts or a skirt. Measure your dog's width and determine how long you want the shorts or skirt. Line the pieces with Velcro so you don't have to sew them. This will also make it more convenient to take off when the dog has to go outside. Also, don't forget to add a hole in the back for the dog's tail.
Dress your dog with accessories such as sunglasses, ski goggles and hats. These items can add color to your dog's outfit and protect your dog's eyes from the sun.
