1
Call your local pet groomer and ask them where they get their blades sharpened.
-
2
Choose a grindstone sharpening service that uses diamond sharpening tools.
-
3
If there isn't a sharpening service in your town you can send the clippers to a sharpening service such as PuebloSharpening.com.
-
4
Know the cost of the job ahead of time. The going rate is between $6 and $8 for a blade set, which includes dismantling the clippers, sharpening them and putting them back together.
-
5
If you want to do it at home visit an online clipper supply store such as Clipperparts.com or Nebraskablades.com to purchase the sharpening set for your pet clippers. But most pet groomers will tell you that a blade sharpening service is a must.
