Bringing a dog to Thailand is not difficult to do. The Thai people are generally very friendly are usually open to pet dogs as well.
You need to get several documents before you leave your country. The first one is an original rabies vaccination certificate, along with a general vaccination certificate from your vet. The general certificate should say that the dog has been vaccinated against leptospirosis and parvovirus. Both should be dated at least 30 days before departure, but less than one year. You will also need a general health certificate from your vet stating that your dog is in good condition. These This is not the same as your dog's vaccination records.
In addition to the general health certificate from your vet, you will need another certificate from your country's official animal quarantine, which you have to present to Thai officials at the airport.
The most important thing you need is an import permit from the Department of Livestock and Development. This is easy to get. Below is a list of the things you will need.

The import permit is valid for 45 days.
This certificate usually comes from an office at the airport of your departure point. You will need to present all of your paperwork along with a small fee.
1. A copy of passport or identification of owner
2. Address in exporting country and address in Thailand
3. Email address
4. Details of your pet (ex. kind, breed, number, age and sex) and
copy of vaccination book of your pet
5. Detail of arrival date, airline and flight number
