What is an enderborn?

An enderborn is a fictional creature mentioned in Dungeons and Dragons. Enderborn are a form of Dragonborn with ancestry that traces back to the elemental planes associated with the Shadowfell in Eberron or The Underdark in DnD settings. They have dark-scaled skin and a powerful connection to the forces of darkness. However, enderborn do not necessarily possess malevolent alignments and can also exhibit positive or neutral traits based on individual backgrounds and motivations. Their connection to shadowy or subterranean realms might grant them unique abilities for stealth, cunning, magic and control over shadow magic. Despite their formidable capabilities, enderborm retain the inherent features of dragonborn race in DnD such as their breath weapon aligned with shadow energy.
