Other hypersensitive animals are:
- Cats. While cats can't hear as well as dogs can, they make up for it with increased sensitivity in other areas, such as whiskers, vision and, some researchers believe, their ability to sense barometric pressure changes.
- Cows. Bovine sensitivity is well known to farmers. Cows are quick to feel changes in the weather and are easily stressed.
- Horses. Horses are not quite as sensitive as cattle, but they are still very sensitive. They are quick to react to the environment, which is how they are able to avoid predators.
