Will a muskrat kill house cat?
It is unlikely that a muskrat would kill a house cat. Although muskrats are carnivores, they typically feed on aquatic plants, although can also eat other animals such as snails, insects, and fish. House cats, on the other hand, are predators and are often larger than muskrats. If a muskrat were to attack a cat, it would likely result in the cat defending itself and killing the muskrat. Additionally, muskrats typically avoid contact with humans and would not likely go near a house cat.
