How to Burp a Newborn Tiger Cub

Tiger cubs are similar to newborn babies in that they need to be cared for and fed around the clock. Just as you would feed a newborn baby every two hours, you must do the same for a tiger cub to ensure that they are getting the proper nutrition. It is important to understand that just because you are raising a tiger cub yourself, it does not mean that they will turn out to be a tame pet-they will always be wild animals.

Instructions

    • 1

Feed the tiger cub out of the baby bottle until the cub is full or you have given him or her the recommended amount of milk.

    • 2

Place the cub on your lap and lean it over your hand with your hand pressing against the belly.

    • 3

Rub and pat its back as you would do with a newborn human until it burps at least twice.

    • 4

Lay the cub on its back so that you can see its genitals.

    • 5

Place a wet wipe over the genitals and gently wipe until the cub urinates and defecates. The cub should urinate after every feeding and defecate at least two to three times per day.
