How to Make a Lion Habitat
Determine how much space you have to create a lion habitat. It's beneficial to the animal if you have at least 8 to 10 acres of land to work with.
Build a steel fence around the perimeter of the lion habitat. Concrete may be needed to stabilize the fence and ensure it is secure enough.
Plant tall grass, trees and plants. Depending upon the climate you live in, you may have limited options. However, keep the foliage as realistic to the lion's natural setting as possible.
Create a space for a watering hole where the lions can gather to drink and to bathe. This will enable the environment to be more social. Add rock and logs to break up the scenery.
Separate the feeding room from the main living environment. Use sliding doors on both sides of the feeding room so you can safely put the food in the room without the lions present and reopen the room once you have exited.
