* They can't see red or green. So, a red ball might look gray or brown to them.
* They see shades of blue and yellow more intensely than we do. A blue toy might appear especially vibrant.
* They have excellent night vision thanks to a higher concentration of rod cells, which are sensitive to low light.
Therefore, Maltese dogs might not see the world in the same vibrant colors that we do, but their vision is still quite impressive in other ways.
