What other animals do octopus live with?

Octopuses are solitary animals, meaning they generally prefer to live alone. They are not social creatures and do not form strong bonds with other octopuses or other animals. However, there are a few exceptions to this rule:

* Mating: Octopuses come together for mating, but this is a brief and often aggressive interaction.

* Shared habitat: Octopuses may share a habitat with other animals, but they do not interact with them in a social way. For example, they may live in the same area as fish, crabs, and other invertebrates.

* Predator-prey relationships: Octopuses are predators, and they sometimes share their habitat with their prey, such as crabs, lobsters, and fish.

So, while octopuses may share their habitat with other animals, they are not typically found living in a social group or having close relationships with other species.
