Things You'll Need
- Needle
- Thread
- Scissors
- Drill
- 3- to 5-inch square block of wood
- Sand paper
Instructions
Buy a stuffed animal either the same size or smaller than the squirrel. Wash it with gentle soap and water to remove any chemicals or germs. Remove the eyes, nose, and any other small pieces from the stuffed animal. These can be choking hazards for a squirrel.
Drill a hole in one of the corners of a 3- to 5-inch square block of wood. The hole should be large enough to allow a needle and thread to pass through easily. Sand down any rough edges.
Sew the block of wood onto the stuffed animal by running the needle and thread through the hole in the wood block and into the fabric. Repeat this three times or until the block is securely attached. This will provide a place for the squirrel to chew without destroying the stuffed animal.
