Instructions

    • 1

Set up the fish tank. Add two inches of medium-sized substrate to the bottom of the fish tank. Add plenty of rocks on top of the substrate as red lobsters need objects to burrow under.

    • 2

Fill the fish tank with dechlorinated water until it reaches within an inch from the top. Set up the water filtration system.

    • 3

Calculate how many red lobsters each tank can hold, which will depend of the shape of your tank. Each red lobster should have approximately 2 square feet of space in order to avoid territorial aggression towards other red lobsters.

    • 4

Introduce the red lobster larvae into the fish tank. Feed the red lobsters a specialized crayfish feed, which will ensure they are getting needed nutrients, and it will promote growth.

    • 5

Remove red lobsters using a net once they have matured, which is when they have reached 1 ounce in weight. At that weight, they are ready to be sold or eaten.
