What body parts does the koala use to move?

The koala primarily uses its forelimbs and hindlimbs for movement.

1. Forelimbs (arms) equipped with strong claws: The koala's front paws are highly adapted for climbing. They have five digits, with two opposable thumbs. These thumbs allow koalas to grip branches securely while climbing trees.

2. Hindlimbs (legs): The koala's back legs are shorter than its front legs, providing stability and support when it is perched high in the trees. Each back foot also has a large, sharp claw that helps the koala grip bark.

Using these specialized limbs, koalas are agile climbers and spend most of their time in the eucalyptus trees, rarely coming down to the ground.
