Where in Australia do you find Dingos?

Dingos are found throughout Australia, except for Tasmania where they were deliberately eradicated.

However, their distribution is not uniform. While they are present in most of the mainland, their numbers and density vary significantly:

* More common in remote areas: Dingos are more prevalent in the arid and semi-arid regions, especially in the Northern Territory, Western Australia, and South Australia. They are well-adapted to these harsh environments.

* Less common in populated areas: Their numbers decline closer to urban areas and agricultural zones due to habitat loss, persecution, and competition with introduced animals.

* Reintroduced populations: There are some reintroduced dingo populations in areas where they were previously eradicated, such as in national parks and wildlife sanctuaries.

It's important to note that dingo populations are constantly fluctuating due to factors such as drought, wildfires, and human intervention.
