How long is a humpback migration?

The length of a humpback whale's migration can vary depending on the population and their destination. However, on average, humpback whales migrate between their summer feeding grounds in cooler, high-latitude waters and their winter breeding grounds in warmer, tropical waters. These migrations can cover distances of up to 16,000 kilometers (10,000 miles) and can take several months to complete.
