What do baby foxes eat?

Baby foxes, also known as kits, rely entirely on their mother for food during their first few weeks of life. Here's what their diet consists of:

* Mother's Milk: Just like human babies, kits primarily feed on their mother's milk. This milk is packed with nutrients essential for their rapid growth and development.

* Pre-killed Prey: As kits get a little older, their mother will start bringing them pre-killed prey to introduce them to solid food. This usually includes small animals like:

* Mice

* Rats

* Birds

* Rabbits

* Insects

The mother will initially tear up the prey for the kits, making it easier for them to eat. As they get older, they will learn to hunt and kill their own prey.

It's important to note that kits do not eat plants or fruits. Their diet is entirely carnivorous.
