Where does foxes live in Africa?

Foxes are not native to Africa. They are found in North America, Europe, and Asia.

There are, however, a few species of canids in Africa that are often mistakenly called "foxes," but they are actually different types of animals:

* The Fennec Fox: This adorable creature is actually a type of fox, but it is not found in Africa. It lives in the Sahara Desert and other parts of North Africa.

* The Bat-Eared Fox: This fox-like canid is found in Southern and Eastern Africa and is known for its distinctive large ears. It is not a true fox but is classified in the Canis genus.

* The Cape Fox: This small canid, also known as the "gray fox," is found in Southern Africa and is not a true fox, but a member of the genus Otocyon.

So, while foxes are not found in Africa, there are some canid species that are often called "foxes" but are actually distinct animals.
