Do pumas have good eye sight?

Pumas have excellent eyesight. Their eyes are adapted for both day and night vision, and they can see objects in low light conditions that humans cannot. Pumas also have a wide field of vision, which allows them to spot prey and predators from a distance. Their eyes are located in the front of their heads and have elliptical pupils that contract and expand to control the amount of light that enters the eye. This allows them to see in low-light conditions, such as at dawn and dusk. Additionally, they have a layer of tissue called the tapetum lucidum behind the retina, which reflects light back into the eye and increases their night vision abilities.
