Do white lions have a predator?
White lions, being a rare colour variant of the lion species (Panthera leo), share the same natural predators as other lions in their habitats. One of their main predators is other lions, particularly older males or coalitions of males that may engage in territorial disputes or seek to dominate a pride. Other predators of lions include hyenas, which compete for food resources and may try to hunt lions, especially when they are injured or vulnerable. However, lions are generally formidable predators at the apex of their food chains and do not commonly fall prey to other animals due to their size, strength, and group living strategies.
