Do red foxes eat bunnies and squirrels?

Red foxes (Vulpes vulpes) are opportunistic predators and will consume a variety of small animals, including rabbits (bunnies) and squirrels. Rabbits and squirrels are common prey for red foxes, and they are often hunted for their meat and fur. Red foxes typically use a stealthy approach to hunting, stalking their prey before pouncing. They will also dig up burrows to access rabbits and squirrels. Red foxes may also consume other small mammals, such as mice, voles, and shrews. In addition to small mammals, red foxes will also consume a variety of other animals, including insects, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. Red foxes are able to adapt their diet to their environment, and they will consume whatever food is most readily available.
