Where do gray foxes live in Pa?

The gray fox (Urocyon cinereoargenteus) is found throughout Pennsylvania. It is most common in the state's southern and central regions, but can also be found in the north. Gray foxes prefer forested habitats, but can also be found in open areas such as fields and meadows. They are most active at night, and are known to be opportunistic omnivores, eating a variety of fruits, vegetables, insects, and small animals.
