What is a baby lobster called?

A baby lobster is called a larva.

It's a bit more specific than that, though! The larva actually goes through several stages:

* Phyllosoma larva: This is the first stage and looks like a tiny, transparent leaf with long legs.

* Mysis larva: This stage is more shrimp-like with a segmented body.

* Post-larva: This stage starts to look more like a miniature adult lobster.

So, while you can call a baby lobster a larva, it's helpful to be more specific about the stage of development it's in!
