Where do crabs live salt water or fresh water?
Crabs can live in both saltwater and freshwater environments. Many species of crabs are adapted to live in saltwater, such as those that live in oceans, estuaries, and mangrove forests. Other species of crabs are adapted to live in freshwater, such as those that live in lakes, rivers, and streams. Some species of crabs, such as the Chinese mitten crab, are able to tolerate a wide range of salinities and can live in both saltwater and freshwater environments.
