How many killer whale related deaths?

There have been four documented deaths involving captive killer whales. These incidents occurred at:

- SeaWorld Orlando in 1991, when a trainer was killed by Tilikum, a male orca.

- SeaWorld San Diego in 2006, when a trainer was killed by Kasatka, a female orca.

- Loro Parque in Tenerife, Spain in 2009, when a trainer was killed by Keto, a male orca.

- SeaWorld Orlando again in 2010, when a trainer was killed by Tilikum once more.

In addition, there have been a number of other incidents in which killer whales have attacked humans, but which did not result in death. These incidents have occurred both in captivity and in the wild.
