How large can a whale get?

The largest whale species is the blue whale. Adult blue whales can reach a maximum length of 33 meters (108 feet) and weigh up to 200 tonnes (440,000 pounds). The blue whale's tongue alone can weigh as much as an adult elephant, and its heart can weigh as much as a small car.
