What size are hyenas?

Hyenas come in three species, each with different size ranges:

* Spotted Hyena: The largest of the hyenas, they can reach up to 5.5 feet in length and weigh between 88-190 pounds. Females are typically larger than males.

* Striped Hyena: The second largest, they grow to about 4.5 feet long and weigh 65-110 pounds. Females are also larger than males.

* Brown Hyena: The smallest hyena, they are around 3.5-4.5 feet long and weigh 66-88 pounds. Males are slightly larger than females.

It's important to note: These are just general size ranges. Individual hyenas within each species can vary in size depending on factors like age, diet, and geographic location.
