What animals have wish bones?

The "wishbone" is actually called the furcula, and it's found in birds.

While dinosaurs also had furculas, it's not accurate to say that all dinosaurs had wishbones, only certain types of theropod dinosaurs.

Here's why:

* Birds evolved from dinosaurs: Birds are actually the direct descendants of a specific group of theropod dinosaurs.

* The Furcula's Function: The furcula is a fused pair of collarbones that helps to strengthen the chest and act as a spring mechanism during flight.

* Not all dinosaurs had wishbones: While some theropods like Velociraptor and Tyrannosaurus Rex had wishbones, other types of dinosaurs like Stegosaurus and Triceratops did not.

So, while the "wishbone" is most commonly associated with birds, it's important to remember its evolutionary connection to a specific group of dinosaurs.
