What is the height and length of a black panther?

There's no such thing as a "black panther" as a distinct species. The term refers to black-furred leopards (Panthera pardus) or jaguars (Panthera onca).

Their size varies depending on their location and subspecies:

Leopards:

* Height: 60-75 cm at the shoulder (24-30 inches)

* Length: 1.4-2.0 m (4.6-6.6 feet) excluding the tail

Jaguars:

* Height: 67-90 cm at the shoulder (26-35 inches)

* Length: 1.5-2.4 m (4.9-7.9 feet) excluding the tail

Keep in mind these are just general ranges. Individual animals can be slightly larger or smaller.
