What color is a monkey?

The colour of a monkey can vary greatly depending on the species. There are over 260 species of monkeys, ranging from the tiny pygmy marmoset, which is only about 12 centimetres (4.7 in) long and weighs about 100 grams (3.5 oz), to the massive mandrill, which can be over 1.2 metres (3.9 ft) long and weigh over 30 kilograms (66 lb). Monkeys come in a variety of colours, including black, brown, grey, red, orange, yellow, green, and white. Some monkeys, such as the mandrill, have brightly coloured faces, while others, such as the capuchin monkey, have dark fur and a white face.
