How tall are spider monkeys?

The spider monkey is a long-limbed primate found in the tropical forests of Central and South America. There are seven different species of spider monkey, ranging in size from the smallest, the Geoffroy's spider monkey, which has a head and body length of around 35 cm (14 in), to the largest, the brown spider monkey, which can reach a head and body length of around 65 cm (26 in). The spider monkey's tail is typically longer than its body, and is used for grasping and swinging through trees. Spider monkeys can weigh anywhere from 1 to 10 kg (2.2 to 22 lbs).
