What do emus prey on?
Emus are omnivores, but they primarily eat plants, such as seeds, fruits, leaves, and flowers. They also eat insects, such as grasshoppers, beetles, and ants. Emus are known to eat small vertebrates, such as lizards, snakes, and frogs, but these make up a small part of their diet. Emus are opportunistic feeders, and they will eat whatever food is available.
