Where did mastodon live?
The mastodon was a large mammal that lived in North and Central America during the late Pleistocene epoch. They were herbivores and fed on plants and leaves. Mastodons are related to elephants and mammoths, but they are not the same animals. Mastodons had a distinctive set of teeth that were different from those of elephants and mammoths. They also had a trunk, but it was not as long as the trunks of elephants and mammoths. Mastodons were very social animals and lived in herds. They were hunted by humans, and they eventually became extinct about 10,000 years ago.
