Do Sumatran tigers live in the rainforest?

Sumatran tigers primarily inhabit the rainforests of the Indonesian island of Sumatra. These rainforests provide suitable habitats for the tigers, offering ample prey, dense vegetation for cover and camouflage, and water sources. Sumatran tigers are well-adapted to the rainforest environment, with their dark orange fur providing effective camouflage, their powerful swimming abilities allowing them to navigate rivers, and their ability to climb trees to escape danger or stalk prey.
