Can a tiger kill panther?

Tigers can, and often do, kill leopards. Leopards are typically smaller and weaker than tigers, and they are also less likely to fight back. Tigers typically kill leopards by biting them in the neck or throat, or by crushing their skulls.

In one study, researchers found that tigers were responsible for 16% of leopard deaths in Kanha National Park in India. In another study, researchers found that tigers were responsible for 25% of leopard deaths in Chitwan National Park in Nepal.

The killing of leopards by tigers can have a negative impact on leopard populations. In some areas, leopard populations have declined significantly due to the presence of tigers.
