What do seal lions weigh?
Sea lions can vary greatly in size depending on the species, with weights ranging from a few hundred pounds to several thousand pounds. For example, the Steller sea lion (Eumetopias jubatus) is one of the largest species and can weigh up to 2,500 pounds (1,134 kilograms), while the California sea lion (Zalophus californianus) is a smaller species with an average weight of around 450 pounds (204 kilograms).
