Do tigers live in pairs or packs?

Tigers are solitary animals. They don't live in pairs or packs like wolves or lions.

Here's why:

* Territorial: Tigers have large territories that they defend fiercely.

* Hunting: They are solitary hunters, relying on their individual skills to take down prey.

* Competition: Tigers are highly competitive and would fight over resources if they lived in groups.

While tigers might occasionally be seen together, especially mothers with their cubs, they generally prefer to live alone.
