Why do tigers carry there cubs in mouths?

Tigers carry their cubs in their mouths for safety and to transport them.

Here's why:

* Safety: Tigers have incredibly strong jaws and a gentle touch when it comes to their young. They can easily pick up their cubs without hurting them.

* Transport: Cubs are small and vulnerable. Carrying them in their mouths allows tigers to quickly and efficiently move them to safer locations, like a den, or to a new hunting ground.

* Protection: Tigers use their mouths to carry their cubs away from danger, including predators or humans.

It's fascinating to see how instinctively tigers understand the need to protect their young and how their physical abilities allow them to do so in a way that's both safe and effective.
