What is a blue jays temperament?

Temperament

Blue jays are fairly tame and easily approached, but they also can become quite agitated when nesting. They are known for their mobbing behavior, where they collectively scold and harass potential threats to their nests, sometimes even swooping down and pecking at the intruder. When provoked or excited, blue jays will fan out their tails and crests while making loud, raucous calls. In general, however, these birds are fairly friendly and will readily take food from humans.
