What is the unique thing of a bat?
The unique characteristic of a bat is its ability to fly. Bats are the only mammals capable of sustained flight. They have forelimbs that are modified into wings, with elongated fingers covered by a flexible membrane of skin. This wing structure allows them to generate lift and propel themselves through the air. Bats use echolocation, emitting high-frequency sounds and interpreting the echoes that bounce back, to navigate and locate prey in the dark. Additionally, bats have a highly developed sense of hearing, allowing them to detect even the faintest sounds.
